Kailashanand Giri Ji Maharaj

Acharya Mahamandaleshwar of the Niranjani Akhada — the second largest of the thirteen and famed for its scholars — Swami Kailashanand Giri Ji Maharaj was installed on the Niranjan Peetha in 2021 after earlier serving as Acharya of the Agni Akhada. Born in Bihar and seated at Haridwar, he is a master of Shakta worship and Vedic rite whose fame crossed the oceans at the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh of 2025, when seekers from across the world — among them Laurene Powell Jobs — took his shelter as disciples.
