ಪ್ರಯಾಗರಾಜ್ — ತೀರ್ಥಗಳ ರಾಜ

ನದಿ: ತ್ರಿವೇಣಿ ಸಂಗಮ — ಗಂಗಾ, ಯಮುನಾ ಮತ್ತು ಅದೃಶ್ಯ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಸೇರುವ ಸ್ಥಳ. ಚಕ್ರ: ಗುರು ವೃಷಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸೂರ್ಯ-ಚಂದ್ರ ಮಕರದಲ್ಲಿ.

ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವು ಪ್ರಯಾಗವನ್ನು ತೀರ್ಥರಾಜ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ — ಉಳಿದೆಲ್ಲಾ ತೀರ್ಥಗಳೂ ನಮಿಸುವ ರಾಜ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ಮೊದಲ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದನು; ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಮರಳಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿಂಗಳ ಕಾಲದ ಕಲ್ಪವಾಸ ವ್ರತವು ಯುಗಗಳ ತಪಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. 2025ರ ಮಹಾ ಕುಂಭ — 144 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಗೊಮ್ಮೆ ಬರುವ ಪರಾಕಾಷ್ಠೆ — 66 ಕೋಟಿಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಯಾತ್ರಿಕರನ್ನು ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸಿತು, ಮಾನವ ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಅತಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮಾಗಮ.

ಭೇಟಿಯ ಫಲ: ಸಂಗಮ ಸ್ನಾನವು ಅಸಂಖ್ಯ ಜನ್ಮಗಳ ಕರ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಳೆಯುತ್ತದೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಕುಂಭದ ಹೊರತಾಗಿಯೂ, ಸಂಕಲ್ಪದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಗಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳುಗುವುದು ಹೊಸ ಆರಂಭಗಳಿಗೆ — ಹೊಸ ಉದ್ಯಮಗಳು, ಹೊಸ ವ್ರತಗಳು, ಜೀವನದ ಹೊಸ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯಗಳಿಗೆ — ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಪರಿಹಾರ.

ಪ್ರಯಾಗರಾಜ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ಕುಂಭ: ಈ ಚಕ್ರವು 2030ರ ದಶಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಮರಳುತ್ತದೆ — ಆದರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಾಘ ಮೇಳ ಪ್ರತಿ ಜನವರಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ಹರಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.

ಹರಿದ್ವಾರ — ಹರಿಯ ಬಾಗಿಲು

ನದಿ: ಗಂಗಾ, ಬಯಲಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ. ಚಕ್ರ: ಗುರು ಕುಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸೂರ್ಯ ಮೇಷದಲ್ಲಿ. ಮುಂದಿನದು: ಅರ್ಧ ಕುಂಭ, 14 ಜನವರಿ – 20 ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 2027.

ಏಳು ಮೋಕ್ಷ-ಪುರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು, ಬದರಿ-ಕೇದಾರಕ್ಕೂ ಮುಕ್ತಿಗೂ ಸಮಾನವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶದ್ವಾರ. ಹರ್ ಕಿ ಪೌಡಿಯ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ಕುಂಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೃತ ಬಿದ್ದಿತು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಷ್ಣುವಿನ ಪಾದಚಿಹ್ನೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶತಮಾನಗಳಿಂದ ಸಂಜೆಯ ಗಂಗಾ ಆರತಿ ಅವಿಚ್ಛಿನ್ನವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕನಖಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದಕ್ಷನ ಯಜ್ಞ-ಭೂಮಿಯು ಈ ನಗರವನ್ನು ಶಿವನ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪುರಾತನ ದುಃಖ ಮತ್ತು ಕೃಪೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೆಸೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.

Benefit of visiting: Ganga at Haridwar is snana-mukti water — the bath of release. Pilgrims bring their beginnings (mundan, janeu) and their endings (asthi-visarjan) to the same ghats: the whole arc of life is sanctified here.

Nashik-Trimbakeshwar — Rama's River

River: Godavari, the Dakshina Ganga, born on Brahmagiri. Cycle: Guru in Simha — the Simhastha. Next: Amrit Snans Aug–Sep 2027.

The only Kumbh with two capitals: Ramkund in Nashik's Panchavati — the exile-home of Shri Rama, Sita and Lakshmana — and Kushavarta Kund beside the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga, where the Godavari emerges. Ramayana and Jyotirlinga in one sacred field.

Benefit of visiting: the Godavari at Nashik is Bharat's foremost water for the ancestors — pitru-karya, shraddha and asthi-visarjan; the Simhastha snan is held to free both the bather and their lineage.

Ujjain — the City of Mahakal

Avantika, Moksha-puri and the zero-meridian of Hindu astronomy, ruled forever by Mahakaleshwar — the south-facing Jyotirlinga of Time. Kal Bhairav guards its gates, Harsiddhi Shakti Peeth blazes at its heart, and Krishna himself studied here at Sandipani's ashram.

Benefit of visiting: Ujjain is where one makes peace with time — graha-shanti on the Shipra ghats, freedom from the fear of death in Mahakal's darshan, and the Bhasma Aarti's daily reminder that all things return to sacred ash.
