پریاگ راج — تیرتھوں کا راجا

دریا: تریوینی سنگم — گنگا، یمنا اور پوشیدہ سرسوتی کا یکجا ہونا۔ چکر: گرو وِرشبھ میں، سوریہ-چندر مکر میں۔

شاستر پریاگ کو تیرتھ راج کہتے ہیں — وہ راجا جس کے سامنے باقی تمام تیرتھ سر جھکاتے ہیں۔ یہاں برہما نے تخلیق کا پہلا یگیہ کیا؛ یہاں ریت پر کلپ واس کا مہینہ بھر کا عہد یگوں کی تپسیا کے برابر مانا جاتا ہے۔ 2025 کے مہا کمبھ — 144 سال میں ایک بار آنے والے عروج — نے 66 کروڑ سے زیادہ زائرین کو کھینچا، جو انسانی تاریخ کا سب سے بڑا اجتماع تھا۔

درشن کا فائدہ: سنگم اسنان کے بارے میں مانا جاتا ہے کہ یہ لاتعداد جنموں کے کرم دھو دیتا ہے؛ کمبھ کے علاوہ بھی، سنکلپ کے ساتھ سنگم میں لگائی گئی ایک ڈبکی نئی شروعات — نئے کاروبار، نئے عہد، زندگی کے نئے ابواب — کے لیے کلاسیکی تدبیر ہے۔

پریاگ راج میں اگلا کمبھ: یہ چکر 2030 کی دہائی میں لوٹے گا — اس کا ماگھ میلہ اس سے قطع نظر ہر جنوری میں لگتا ہے۔

ہری دوار — ہری کا دروازہ

دریا: گنگا، میدانوں میں اپنے داخلے کے مقام پر۔ چکر: گرو کمبھ میں، سوریہ میش میں۔ اگلا: اردھ کمبھ، 14 جنوری – 20 اپریل 2027۔

سات موکش پوریوں میں سے ایک، جو بدری-کیدار اور نجات دونوں کا یکساں دروازہ ہے۔ امرت برہم کنڈ، ہر کی پوڑی پر گرا تھا، جہاں وشنو کا نقشِ پا نصب ہے اور جہاں شام کی گنگا آرتی صدیوں سے بلا تعطل روشن ہے۔ کنکھل میں دکش کی یگیہ بھومی اس نگر کو شیو کے قدیم ترین غم اور کرم سے جوڑتی ہے۔

Benefit of visiting: Ganga at Haridwar is snana-mukti water — the bath of release. Pilgrims bring their beginnings (mundan, janeu) and their endings (asthi-visarjan) to the same ghats: the whole arc of life is sanctified here.

Nashik-Trimbakeshwar — Rama's River

River: Godavari, the Dakshina Ganga, born on Brahmagiri. Cycle: Guru in Simha — the Simhastha. Next: Amrit Snans Aug–Sep 2027.

The only Kumbh with two capitals: Ramkund in Nashik's Panchavati — the exile-home of Shri Rama, Sita and Lakshmana — and Kushavarta Kund beside the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga, where the Godavari emerges. Ramayana and Jyotirlinga in one sacred field.

Benefit of visiting: the Godavari at Nashik is Bharat's foremost water for the ancestors — pitru-karya, shraddha and asthi-visarjan; the Simhastha snan is held to free both the bather and their lineage.

Ujjain — the City of Mahakal

River: Shipra. Cycle: Guru in Simha, Surya in Mesha — the Simhastha. Next: 27 Mar – 27 May 2028.

Avantika, Moksha-puri and the zero-meridian of Hindu astronomy, ruled forever by Mahakaleshwar — the south-facing Jyotirlinga of Time. Kal Bhairav guards its gates, Harsiddhi Shakti Peeth blazes at its heart, and Krishna himself studied here at Sandipani's ashram.

Benefit of visiting: Ujjain is where one makes peace with time — graha-shanti on the Shipra ghats, freedom from the fear of death in Mahakal's darshan, and the Bhasma Aarti's daily reminder that all things return to sacred ash.
